The Houston Water Lantern Festival returns to City Place Plaza in Spring, November 20–22, 2026. Guests decorate a floating lantern with a message, drawing or intention, then release it onto the water at sunset alongside thousands of others. The afternoon includes live music, food trucks and lawn games. Tickets start at $30.99, and children under 8 attend free.
