The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition that challenges graduate students to present the significance of their research in just three minutes to a non-specialist audience. Developed by The University of Queensland, 3MT® helps students strengthen their communication skills by transforming complex research ideas into clear, engaging presentations. Participants will showcase their ability to communicate the impact of their work through content, clarity, and confidence while helping others understand the importance of graduate research and its real-world impact. To participate in the 3MT® Competition, students must attend one required information session on either August 25 or August 26. These sessions will provide important details, expectations, and guidance for competitors.
